Daughters of Farmer & Security Guard Build Careers in Germany
Neelu, the daughter of a farmer, and Naina, the daughter of a security guard, dreamed of escaping the social and economic constraints of rural life. Supported by the GLEEMAN Foundation, they received counseling, guidance, and rigorous German language training.
Neelu successfully cleared her B2 level German exam, and today, she is settled in Rendsburg, Germany, financially independent and topping her Ausbildung Nursing course. Naina has also cleared her B2 level exam and is joining Neelu in Rendsburg this October.

Varsha's 40-Day Triumph: From Village School to 60% Marks
Varsha, a bright but shy girl from a rural background, came to the foundation just 40 days before her Class 10 board exams. Her educational basics were weak and she lacked confidence, making passing the exams seem almost impossible.
Anjali stepped forward to lead a team of 14 Shalini mentors. They structured a rigorous 40-day online learning timetable with morning sessions, evening revisions, and late-night doubt clearing. Overcoming frequent power cuts and internet challenges, Varsha successfully passed her board exams with 60% marks and is now pursuing Class 12 via NIOS.

Sonu's Academic Top: 4 Years of Sincere Tutoring
The GLEEMAN Foundation took Sonu under its wings during his 9th grade in the middle of the pandemic. Seeing his hunger for learning, GLEEMAN educator Madhu tutored him continuously for four years.
When Sonu reached 10th grade, two specialized mentors — Tanvi for Physics and Anuradha for Mathematics — joined to provide targeted guidance. Sonu absorbed every bit of advice and topped his Class 10 board exams, proving how proper mentoring can maximize a student's potential.
From Domestic Help to Literacy: Megha & Shivani
When the day's sweeping and cleaning was done, Shivani and Tamanna, young domestic house helps, would pick up a smartphone. Miles away, Megha Mary Oommen, a privileged student from a prestigious college, connected with them online.
Under the guidance of Ela Baijal Ma'am, Megha taught them basic literacy, numeracy, and English. Empowered by the gift of reading and writing, Shivani gained new-found confidence. For Megha, this fulfilling experience turned her passion into a profession, leading her to become a professional school teacher.

Jagriti & Pihu: Stitching a New Future
Dolly and Jagriti spent 5 years visiting rural homes to teach girls who missed out on school. Among their students was Pihu, a girl from a small village whose parents worked as laborers. Despite being enrolled in a school, Pihu was lagging behind and could neither read nor write.
Jagriti provided personalized attention, using colorful flashcards, pictures, and storytelling. Gradually, Pihu learned to read and write. Building on this foundation, she completed a vocational sewing course, and today, she runs her own tailor shop in the village, teaching other girls to sew and achieve self-reliance.

Literacy on the Roadside: Mehzabi & Rag-picker Children
Mehzabi did not wait for a classroom or resources. She began on the side of the road in the slums, where children of rag-pickers sorted their daily collections.
She met a young boy who dreamed of reading the labels on the bottles he collected. Starting with just one child, Mehzabi's roadside circle quickly expanded to a large group of children, showing that a spark of purpose is all it takes to erase the shadows of illiteracy.
From 45% to 90%: Asha & Roshini's Academic Success
Under the SMCT and SEED programs in Greater Noida, Asha met Roshini. Roshini wanted to study and perform better, but needed proper academic support and encouragement.
Asha tutored Roshini online for several years, acting as her guide and counselor. Due to flexible online timings, Asha could balance Roshini's lessons with her own studies. With consistent tutoring, Roshini's marks rose from 45% to a stellar 90%, proving that structured online mentoring delivers real results.
Anuradha: The Art of Collective Mentorship
Anuradha took on a different mission: strengthening already bright minds. She recognized that students like Sonu and Varsha possessed immense potential but lacked the guidance to excel in board exams.
Anuradha coordinated a group of local girl mentors to teach these students collectively. By pooling their strengths in math, physics, and other subjects, Sonu topped his class, Varsha scored 60%, and over 500 more children and adults benefited from these shared learning circles.
