Flagship Initiative — Project PRASHANT

Project PRASHANT is GLEEMAN Foundation’s flagship literacy initiative — a structured 101-day learning program designed for individuals who have missed formal education.

The program focuses on building:

  • Basic Literacy

  • Numeracy Skills

  • Communication Skills

  • Confidence

  • Functional Knowledge

Project PRASHANT is designed to be flexible, accessible, and scalable. Learning can take place in homes, community spaces, or workplaces. The curriculum is simple yet effective, allowing volunteers with minimal training to facilitate learning.

The 5-Step Process

  • Step 1: Identify Society Heads — We promote and identify people who wish to lead.

  • Step 2: Train the Trainers — We introduce the concept to the leaders.

  • Step 3: Mentors Selection — Leaders identify people willing to teach.

  • Step 4: Orientation Meet — Mentors are briefed about the campaign and why they should participate.

  • Step 5: Mentors Training — How to use the manual and teach their mentees.

Project BHAVANA

Project BHAVANA reflects GLEEMAN Foundation’s commitment to going beyond literacy and supporting aspiration-driven empowerment. While Project PRASHANT addresses foundational learning, Project BHAVANA addresses the dreams, confidence, and upward mobility of young individuals—especially girls and women—who are seeking to move beyond social and economic constraints.

Under this Project GLEEMAN Foundation gave full support to Neelu & Naina for pursuing their Nursing training in Germany (including learning of the German language) and empowered them to become the agents of change and inspire others to break free from societal constraints.

The project is built on the belief that talent is widely distributed, but opportunity is not. Many young people from modest backgrounds possess ambition, discipline, and capability, yet are held back by limited resources, social expectations, or lack of guidance. Project BHAVANA seeks to fill that gap by providing encouragement, mentoring support, and enabling assistance to deserving aspirants pursuing meaningful life goals.
